Spring Break

This week is spring break. I have been doing research to see what activities we can do. I have to plan my day every 20 minutes at a time to make sure she is happy and engaged. Of course I make sure she is learning as she plays as well. I have been posting fun activities we have done through out the day on Instagram, don’t forget to check it out. With COVID-19 and this weather it is really hard keeping her entertained. Thanks to all the wonderful kind souls who has helped us during this time. In case you missed it, here’s a list of things my dearest foster girl need to keep her entertained during this scary time.

Please stay home and stay safe everyone! We can get through this together! Please feel free to message, call us anytime!

Resources for kids

It’s been a wild week and half. I guess my dream of becoming a teacher has come true. With limited resources, we are making the best of it. After days of researching, I decided to put together some of the thing I found extremely useful with my kiddo.

Click on the link at the bottom for a list of resources. Let me know what other ones you have used and like that’s not on here!

Do not forget to have fun and relax once in awhile. Go grab your warm drink and cuddle up to watch Tokyo Disney, Disney Sea.

First few days….

Sometimes we just can’t help to have certain expectations of things, even we know not to. During the first few days, there were many ups and downs. Overall, things were not disastrous. However, there is always something that we did not expect or mentally prepare for.

It is happening!

We have been approved to be foster parents. We are so excited! It has been a roller coaster and the child is not even at our home yet. I can’t wait for her to come here. We decided two nights ago we will switch the room around and get a bunk bed. We will be busy this weekend doing that.

Here’s more on what’s been going on!

Email Inbox

I have been purging my email inbox for the last 2 days. It is pretty boring. I know JR would say, this is why you do it immediately.

What do you do?

My Beautiful Diffuser

I never thought to show off my diffusers because I feel they are pretty plain looking. Last Christmas I got my first “pretty” diffuser! One that made me go, “OhhHhhhh”! Not sure why I didn’t post any pictures, but the pretty gray lantern diffuser sits on my night stand.  As long as I am not too tired before bed, diffusing Lavender and Cedarwood oil would be my go to. If I have been very sleep deprived, I may adjust my blend and add a little Gentle Gaby. The whole reason I start using YL essential oils, was to help myself get a better night sleep. I never imagined it would help me look at the world in a different perspective. Anyway, that’s a topic for another day. Right now I am very excited to show you my brand new Aria diffuser! Check it out!

First time for everything

My first time doing a timelapse video. So excited to get my cats these adorable advent calendar from Trader Joe’s. It’s their first time having it for the cats. I could only get 2 at the time since it quickly sold out. My sister came to the rescue and got me a third one. My girls are definitely spoiled rotten. I was thinking they could just share….but good thing they didn’t have to. They are really enjoying these salmon seaweed treats.

Enjoy the video!

I’m baaaaaccck!

Very excited to be able to motivate my friend to see a chiropractor and also get a second opinion. I’ve lost focus a bit but it is never too late to focus on oneself. Our mental and physical health is so important. It took 30 odd years to realize. I hope it does not take another 30 years for me to master it!
